Thea Ross
Doctorate of Physical Therapy | (She / Her)

Thea Ross, Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT, DPT), is a pelvic floor physical therapist at Pelvic Therapy Specialists in Boulder, Colorado. She blends manual techniques with prescriptive exercise to help patients return to their best function.

Education & Background

Thea earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2014. She completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh. Her path into physical therapy began through ballet — an early, hands-on exploration of how movement supports well-being and addresses dysfunction.

My Approach

Thea pairs skilled manual therapy with targeted, prescriptive exercise — meeting each patient's body where it is and building from there.

"My goal is to empower patients to return to their best function through a combination of manual techniques and prescriptive exercises." Thea Ross, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Philosophy

Shaped by her background in neuroscience and dance, Thea sees movement as both a diagnostic lens and a treatment. Her care is grounded in the belief that patients recover best when they understand their body and have a clear path back to what they want to do.

Outside the Clinic

Thea enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, and reading.
