Sandra Shevlin
Doctorate of Physical Therapy | (She / Her)

Sandra Shevlin, Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT, DPT), is the founder of Pelvic Therapy Specialists in Boulder, Colorado, and a pelvic floor physical therapist with 25+ years treating pelvic-specific diagnoses.

Education & Background

Sandra earned her clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha. She started her career with the nationally recognized Clear Passage Physical Therapy practice before founding Pelvic Therapy Specialists in 2008. She has completed over 400 hours of continuing education in women's and men's health–focused courses.

My Approach

Sandra built PTS around evidence-based care and patient education — a direct response to how often pelvic conditions go unspoken and untreated.

"I founded this practice to prioritize patient health and break the taboo surrounding treatment for these often life-debilitating pelvic regional diagnoses, using evidence-based solutions and education to fundamentally change lives for the better."  Sandra Shevlin, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Philosophy

She believes pelvic health deserves the same openness, rigor, and respect as any other area of medicine. Her work is grounded in the conviction that education and evidence — paired with compassionate care — are what move patients from silent suffering to real recovery.

Outside the Clinic

Sandra spends her time with family on mountain bikes, skis (snow and water), running trails, and volleyball courts.
