Maryanne Wilson
Doctorate of Physical Therapy | (She / Her)

Maryanne Wilson, Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT, DPT), is a pelvic floor physical therapist at Pelvic Therapy Specialists in Boulder, Colorado. She cares for patients navigating pelvic pain, bladder and bowel concerns, incontinence, pregnancy and postpartum changes, sexual health concerns, and return-to-sport goals.

Education & Background

Maryanne earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Elon University in 2022, where she developed a strong interest in pelvic health and whole-body rehabilitation. She brings over 18 years of prior experience in strength and conditioning through roles with EXOS, the YMCA, and Equinox in the San Francisco Bay Area — a foundation that shapes how she looks past symptoms to how the body loads, moves, and recovers as an integrated system.

My Approach

Maryanne combines evidence-based care with a highly individualized, one-on-one approach — using patient education, prescriptive exercise, internal and external manual therapy, and certified dry needling when appropriate. She takes the time to understand each patient's journey and goals.

"You shouldn't have to guess what's going on in your body — lasting results come from understanding the why, not just treating symptoms."— Maryanne Wilson, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Philosophy

Her goal is to help people understand their bodies, feel empowered in their care, and build the strength and confidence to return to the activities that matter most — without fear, limitation, or guesswork.

Outside the Clinic

Outside the clinic, Maryanne enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping, fostering dogs, traveling, and being a foodie.
