The Reality of Pelvic Therapy:
Most pelvic floor physical therapists are burning out. You are likely either the only pelvic specialist in a busy general ortho clinic feeling completely isolated, or you are stuck in an insurance-mandated volume mill seeing 15+ patients a day in 30-minute slots.
At Pelvic Therapy Specialists in Boulder, CO, we built an out-of-network clinic to be the exact opposite.
How We Work Differently:
Our mission is to end the silence and taboo surrounding pelvic therapy treatment—and we know that starts by taking exceptional care of our therapists. As a Pelvic PT on our team, your day-to-day will actually look like this:
- No Volume Mills: Because we are an out-of-network provider, you are not subject to arbitrary insurance timelines. You dictate the treatment length based on what the patient actually needs (typically full hour, 1-on-1 sessions).
- The "Goldilocks" Size Team: You won't be on an island. We have a dedicated team of PFPTs—big enough to collaborate, share complex cases, and learn from each other, but small enough to avoid corporate red tape.
- Protected Energy: Pelvic therapy involves heavy emotional labor. We offer highly flexible scheduling so you can protect your energy, prevent burnout, and actually have the time to enjoy the Colorado outdoors.
- Specialized Growth: Enjoy generous continuing education benefits and monthly in-services to advance your technical skills alongside other pelvic experts. Full-time benefits include health insurance, 401(k), vision, paid holidays, and PTO that grows with tenure: 15 days, 17 days, and 20 days.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Colorado licensed (or eligible) Physical Therapist
- Completed the APTA or Herman and Wallace Intro Pelvic Floor Course (Level I)
- 1+ years of experience treating pelvic floor issues, including internal work (preferred)
If you are ready to practice pelvic therapy the way it was meant to be practiced, we’d love to connect. Apply below, or send us a direct message for a low-pressure chat about the role.
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with pelvic floor experience, certifications, and schedule structure. We hire for both Full-Time and Part-Time roles, and our broad pay range reflects this flexibility. Candidates opting for a Part-Time schedule receive an upward adjustment to their hourly base rate in lieu of the employer-paid health etc provided to Full-Time staff.
The advertised range reflects expected pay for candidates with 1+ years of dedicated pelvic health experience. Exceptional new grads with a strong clinical rotation in pelvic floor will be considered at an entry-level training rate.
